Intro to Dragon Boat

Curious about dragon boat paddling? Come on out to Port Perry and see what it’s all about! Intro to Dragon Boat is a one-hour session for absolute newbies.

The intro session is light and fun, with lots of opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends. Great for anyone who likes the water, and wants to try something new!

We teach you the basics of loading the boat, the dragon boat commands, and paddle technique. This is a leisurely, fun outing on Lake Scugog.

No experience is required, and we provide all the equipment (life jackets and paddles).

Here at the Scugog Dragon Boat Club we love all humans, and welcome people of all skills and abilities on our boat.

Sessions launch at the Port Perry waterfront, near the Port Perry Marina. Location details will be sent to registered participants.
